Hello Everyone
As you may have already seen from pictures Verity sent out earlier today yesterday was a day of contrasts.
We spent a lovely morning with the children and babies in the kindergarten. These are the children of the students in the vocational school.
In the afternoon we visited the kush boys and took them rice to eat. We felt very privileged that we had such an opportunity. We spent time chatting to them and prayed with them. Some of them showed a real interest in the vocational training opportunities they are being invited into at Family Homes Movement. It is so sad to see these beautiful young men so lost.
Today we have been 100 miles into the provinces, a complete opposite to the chaos of Freetown. The air is fresher and there are many trees and even some cows grazing. We visited a lovely primary school where the children sang lovely Christian songs to us. The school started from a mango!! We will tell you the story when we get home. They gave us coconuts when we left. They tried to give us a chicken but we politely refused – (it was live!).
On the way home we stopped and bought bananas and paw paws from a family selling on the side of the road. That’s tea sorted!  As always thank you for your wonderful support and prayers
Love and blessings Sandra and Sarah xxx
